James Cramer, is a multi-instrumentalist, performer and songwriter from Dublin.

As a songwriter James has co-written with well-known Irish artists such as Hermitage Green, Luan Parle, and Eleanor McEvoy. James’ songs have been covered by Derek Ryan, Grainne Hunt and the new number one selling album by the legendary Christy Moore ‘A Terrible Beauty’, features one of James’ compositions ‘Lyra McKee’.

As a performer James leads the alt-folk band Tupelo, which has released three albums of original music and toured sold-out shows in Denmark and Holland, as well as festivals and events in Ireland, the UK, France, Belgium, Norway, Russia, and the USA. As a performer James captivates audiences large and small with his inimitable stage presence.

James’ solo music has also gained attention, particularly with the song “My World Again,” which was featured in the Canadian reality show “Hello Goodbye.” Another song, “The Shriven Dust,” appeared in the show's next season. “The Road to Kinawley,” from his first solo project “The Lights of Lisnaskay,” was included in the BBC adaptation of Sally Rooney’s “Normal People”. More recent collaborations with Norwegian producer Eirik Molnes Husabø, made singles “Simple Man,” a powerful pop song, and “My Darkest Hour,” an introspective ballad.
